Dan joined St. James’s Place as an Investment Consultant in 2012. He entered the financial services profession in 1986 with Fidelity Investments and subsequently worked with M&G Fund Management and Towry Financial Services. His professional qualifications include the Diploma in Financial Services and Investment Management Certificate.
Dan liaises between our Investment Management team and Partners to ensure clients are kept fully informed about the ongoing management of their investment portfolios. He has a good knowledge of pension and estate planning and how these combine with investing to form a robust financial plan. He enjoys public speaking and regularly presents at client events and seminars on behalf of Partners.
Dougy started his financial services career in 1994 and has advised, trained and managed during this time. Prior to joining St. James’s Place in 2013, Dougy was working in the private banking arena, predominantly in wealth management, estate planning and trusts. At a Location level, Dougy is responsible for the Tax Year-End campaign and Partner Support Staff development. Dougy is also involved in presenting at client events. Outside work, he is a rugby union supporter and enjoys wine and sailing.
Iain joined St. James’s Place in 2014 having held previously specialist positions within the private banking sector. He has now become part of the St. James’s Place Private Clients as a specialist in the areas of trusts, estates, and family wealth planning. Iain has a keen interest in investment markets and the factors that influence the world of investing.
As a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and a holder of the STEP Diploma in Tax & Estate Planning, Iain combines specialist knowledge and an ability to communicate complex information clearly. Iain’s role is to support the Partners of St. James’s Place in managing clients with sophisticated wealth planning needs in the Newbury location.
Ian has spent over 40 years working in the Pensions industry. He joined St. James’s Place in September 2004 as Head of Pensions, he is now a Divisional Director. His role involves all aspects of Pensions including corporate pensions, and he presents widely throughout the UK. Ian maintains an understanding of all aspects of the legislative changes affecting pensions in order to ensure that clients of St. James’s Place are fully aware of current rules and guidelines.
Ian regularly comments on and writes for the industry press on all pension issues. He spent four years on the Pensions & Savings Committee of the ABI.
